The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max were announced on September 9, 2026, with pre-orders on September 12 and availability from September 18. Both are powered by the first 2nm A20 Pro chip (6-core CPU, 7-core GPU, dual 16-core Neural Engine) with a new vapor chamber roughly 3x larger than before, in a unibody aluminum enclosure with Ceramic Shield 2 front. All three rear cameras are 48MP Fusion lenses; the Main debuts a six-blade variable aperture (ƒ/1.48-ƒ/4.0), the telephoto offers 8x optical quality zoom, and the front camera is an 18MP Center Stage shooter. Video playback reaches up to 34 hours (Pro) / 43 hours (Pro Max), with a 2TB storage option. Prices start at $1,199 (18 Pro) and $1,299 (18 Pro Max); in China, 18 Pro is ¥9,999/¥11,999/¥15,499/¥20,499 and 18 Pro Max is ¥10,999/¥12,999/¥16,499/¥21,499 across 256GB/512GB/1TB/2TB.
